Our Story – Cherish the Cakes

Our Founder's Story

Cherish the Cakes was envisioned by Ms. Jeffery when one day deciding to walk away from a very successful career in the Insurance Industry to follow her dream. She saw a way to use her business knowledge and passion to launch her bakery 5 years ago in 2013.

Ms. Jeffery advanced her knowledge and love for baking by attending The Art Institute earning her a degree as a Pastry Chef in 2015. This helped grow her skills even further adding all types of pastries and expanding beyond cakes.

Today, Ms. Jeffery has produced more than 6,700 cakes averaging 1,100 cakes per year. If you can dream of it, she can make it.

About our Bakery

Conveniently located in Kansas City, Missouri at The Shops at Blue Parkway, 4415 Blue Parkway. We are centrally located to deliver your custom cake anywhere in the Kansas City metro area, including the State of Kansas within 30 Miles.

Cherish the Cakes has been in operation since 2013 and continues to grow at a tremendous pace through the nurture and care of Ms. Jeffery for the business.

Our Team

Ms Jeffery believes there is no way to achieve the vision of the bakery without a strong team. Cherish the Cakes was started by the strong support first of her family and loved ones.

They believed in her and encouraged and inspired her vision. They also stepped in to offer their expertise where needed. The business has now grown to bringing on additional support to help grow the brand. We take pride in every pastry we make.

How Does it Work

After browsing our cake products and making your selections, our team will receive an email of your order and review the details. Soon after someone will reach out to you to confirm your order and the baking process begins.

Place an order from comfort of your home or office. Most Cakes require 7 Days notice.

This is the fun part. This is when we begin creating and baking your order and preparing for your event.

The outcome is your beautiful and delicious baked goods. Whether a cake or other sweet treats; expect to be wowed.
